Task 1: Experimentation with Studio LIghts
Session Review
By Sebastian Jones
Yesterday afternoon, my colleague Thomas Baxter and I experimented with studio lights and shadows for our small introduction task of taking mug shots for this module.
During this session, I discovered that playing around with the studio lights are similar to the area lights in Autodesk: Maya and experimenting with these lights created levels of lighting intensity that created various moods for the subject under the lights.
Furthermore, the light set I preferred had one light on and the second light on the right dimmed down to create a shadow around half our the subjects face when positioned near the spotlights.
